The motel is old and needs refreshing however the owners are very welcoming and hospitable. There is reduced choice in Christchurch due to the earthquake and we found that every motel along yaldhurst rd was booked out. We paid $185 for the two bed apt for the one night. More

Great spot handy to the city and malls, but very tired needs a major revamp all the units seem to be the same as when they were built 20-30 years ago apart from new tvs. Not a place we would stay again, far better value closer to town. Maybe a smile from the owner now and again would help also. More
