I really liked the hostel – stayed there at easter and got free cupcakes, sweets and more. The dorm is great, it's clean, the only drawback is the location … it's too far to walk to the city centre. But if you like that, it's just perfect.

We stayed in the 2 BR family apartment - big kitchen, large screen TV, large bath, nice little deck, greenery all around, very conveniently located (we had a rental car). They even did our laundry for $7 a load!

This is a spotless lodge...very very clean... with extremely nice and helpful staff. I just didn't realize how far out it is from central Christchurch...a $30 cab ride. But there is a bus available if you have time...
