Ian and Allison are really accommodating hosts who love to engage you in conversations.. Their home is a lovely place.. one filled with warmth and a homely atmosphere for guests. The house is kept wonderfully clean and the rooms are furnished with pretty furniture which is consistent as the other parts of the house. We had a really early morning... More

Allison picked us up from the airport after very long flight and gave us cups of tea and cake when we arrived. Next day she also took us to the train station to board the Trans scenic train to Greymouth. Both Ian and Allison were wonderful hosts, and chatted wih us about our about plans for holiday and suggested places... More

We stayed with Ian and Alison Boyd at Glenveagh in January of this year for 3 nights. From the minute Alison collected us at the airport to the moment Ian dropped us back, we were made so welcome that we felt like we had known them for years . . . and I am hope we will continue to do... More
