It was bang in the middle of Christchurch and we could walk almost anywhere we liked. I am not sued to valet parking so founf that a bit odd but they always had our car ready for us if we let them know 5 to 10 minutes in advance. The reception staff were great and the room was very modern....

Lovely hotel, very modern, comfortable decor. Rooms are small but not claustrophobic and ventilation is good. Rooms are quiet. Plenty of hot water with good water pressure. Elevators are slow!
Restaurant is nice and the breakfast buffet is good; other restaurants and cafes are very close by, as are landmarks such as the cathedral. The siteseeing trolley line runs next...

Very spacious, pristine, modern room with excellent ammenities, towels and linens. Service was very good with kind and helpful staff going the extra mile. Would return if ever back in Christchurch.

our travel agent booked another hotel but then we read the reviews for that hotel and asked him to change it. We found the Marque and he booked this hotel. Very glad we did. It's a little gem. If we visit Christchurch again we would definitely stay there again. It is so convenient for all the attractions and the staff...

Stayed there only one night as in transit. Beautiful hotel, facilities, location. Great value for money. Would definitely stay there again and hopefully for longer. Everything that we needed for our one night stopover before flying back to Australia. Great inner-city location - clean - very modern - hotel car parking - would definitely stay there again.
Not sure what happened to the hotel during the February 2011 earthquake a few days after our stay - would need to check.

Speaking of value for money, this would be the best place to stay when in Christchurch. A rooms are nice & clean and facilities are well-kept. A bonus is that some rates includes free wi-fi if you bring your own computer. Very helpful staff throughout our stay. The location of the hotel is within walking distance of Cathedral Square and...
