My husband & I enjoyed our 3 nights with John & Raewyn immensely! Their property is beautiful and they are very welcoming. John arranged for us to visit with several local winemakers, which we really appreciated. He also took us on an amazing 4 wheel drive adventure up into the mountains. Our room was private, immaculate, and had a beautiful... More

My friends and I booked out both rooms to stay during the Blenheim food and wine festival this year. We had a truely fabulous time and were made to feel very welcome. The rooms were beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean with all the facilities that you could ask for. John and Rae went out of their way to make us... More

As many have said before, Raewyn and John are excellent hosts and worked really hard to make our stay as happy as possible. We had drinks with our hosts at night and also ate delicious breakfasts in their house in the morning - the breakfasts were a real highlight and some of the best we have enjoyed anywhere (gorgeous homemade... This place is fantastic! We spent 2 wonderful nights in one of Raewyn and Johns delicate rooms. Their house is surrounded by wineyards and a beautiful garden and it is all so gorgeous. The rooms are delicate and spacious with their own bathrooms and terrace. You get that feeling of luxury staying here. Tea and homemade freshly baked cookies and fruits... More

When it is time to go home and you're not ready to go, you know you have had a great weekend. Thank you to our welcoming hosts Raewyn and John for the wonderful food, wine, accommodation and company. There were so many foodie highlights from the homemade feijoa ice cream and muesli, smoked fish and venison with as much enjoyment... More

My partner and I finished our two week travels in New Zealand with 3 nights at Riverstone Lodge and we couldn't have had a more enjoyable stay. Location is ideal - far enough from the city to relax, but close enough to visit the many wineries in the region. Raewyn and John are wonderful hosts who made us feel very... More

this is a very high quality hosted small lodge with only two/three rooms. we stayed in conjunction with the Malborough Wine and Food festival. The owners are as good a host as you could find anywhere. Meals are excellent (cooked breakfast not for the faint hearted) and the local wine is as good as NZ wine can be. We will... More
