This place is so great, just a home away from home. So cosy, the service is so great, really friendly people. We had a fire there, and did a winery tour. It really was so special, probably one of our favourite places in NZ. The cottage has a real country feel, and you are even brought freshly laid eggs and... More

Conveniently situated, half way between the very small airport and the town of Blenheim, within easy reach of Picton, St Leonards cottages are surrounded by famous vineyards with views to the mountains on both sides of the wide valley. The grounds are a delight to explore from lemon grove, hens, deer and sheep to flower and vegetable gardens with tennis, petanque... More

My husband booked the old dairy for the two of us and our 18 month old daughter in October 2011 and we were staying in January 2012. He had also been emailing the owners seperately as we were travelling with an 18month old and needed some room to put up her travel cot. We also needed to check in quite... More

Great place to stay for a tour of the vineyards, and a short drive to town. Hosts very friendly and the accommodation is good value. More

This was a great find! Stayed in the Shearers Cottage which was delightful. So nice to have separate seating for lounging and eating and the breakfast left in the fridge (including fresh eggs which my husband raved over!) was a real bonus. The owners couln't have been more welcoming. I was able to use a washing machine as well as the... More

Our first stop on our 3 week trip and the St Leonards Vineyard Cottages were a great way to start! friendly greeting, awesome grounds, ate a few walnuts from the tree. We stayed in the old dairy which was perfect for my husband and I and we were welcomed with our motorbike too so that was a plus for us!... More

Stayed 2 nights over the Easter break in the Woolshed...2 bedrooms with 1 bathroom replicated to feel/look like an original woolshed.Thoroughly enjoyed the tranquil setting, played tennis on the grass court, petanque, ate fruit and walnuts straight from the trees. Girls enjoyed feeding the sheep, loved the fresh farm eggs that came with breakfast. Husband loved the outside bath. Owners... More

On a recent 10 day tour of New Zealand we stopped by at the St Leonards Vineyard Cottages in Blenheim. It was far and away the nicest place we stayed on our whole trip. We were booked in to the Wool Shed which was surprisingly big and had a real rustic charm about it. Very tastefully furnished, spacious but a... More

After our drive from Kaikoura we were looking forward to our stay at the Old Dairy and it did not dissapoint. The owners are very friendly and the vineyard and grounds are so well kept and clean and you can walk anywhere. I recommend seeing the chickens and other animals and taking time out to sit and enjoy this tranquil... More

We recently spent 3 nights at St. Leonards and it was all that we had hoped for. Not fancy, but totally private, comfortable, charming scenery and very nice folks. They had great tips for local wineries and presented us with a bowl of fresh eggs from their chickens for our breakfasts. The location was convenient to local wineries and we... More
