Stayed here one night, the unit was excellent, a good amount of room, with excellent facilities. It was the only place in the whole of the South Island that had fly screens for the sand flies. For a place in the midle of no where it was excellent with supermarket, petrol station and pub.

Place ok..room was small but clean. Noisy..could hear thru the walls. No table in room to eat from. Internet is slow too. Place next door was good for dinner..Spot Cafe.

Haast Township has very few motel choices, and this perhaps explains the rather average quality of the Heritage Park. The Heritage Park Lodge is located in Haast, half way between Greymouth and Queenstown and is a basis bed and shower. Haast has few services, so be prepared for nothing but a bed. The motel is okay, the best part is the drive to and from Haast. The owner is gracious with what she has to work with.

Rooms are very simply decorated. The room was very cold: the heater did not work and the room is very poorly insulated. Unfortunately, if you travel on the West Coast, you do not have much choice.
