Do NOT miss a chance to stay at Nokomai Station. It's far and away the best place we stayed on the South Island of New Zealand. The location is an easy drive from Queenstown or Te Anau and it's so well set up that you never have to leave once you get there. (Bring plenty of groceries if you are...

If your looking for a authentic farm experience in New Zealand, Nokomai Station is the place to stay. We loved our visit there, and the hospitality we received from the owners.
