The lodge accomodation was not 5 star as advertised & poorly equipped in the kitchen area. The breakfast provisions were not replenished adequately. The rooms were small with nowhere for cases unless the third bedroom was unoccupied. The meals were advertised as four courses but only two were served. Richard has so much to share on this spectacular station in Waipara including dinosaur fossils, deer, sheep and cattle. Do go on his 4x4 excursion - it is a must. Then there's Rosie's wonderful food.
