Great value apartment for a flying visit to Wellington. We checked in late but the staff called an ran thru the procedure to get in, also emailing them too. Great location for walking to shopping. Easy access for driving to University, tourist spots, etc. Great value and set up for teenagers/family..difficult to fine cheapish accommodation when teens classed as adults. Only negative, the neighbours were building a deck from 7:30 each morning... presumed finished now Parking in Street but no difficulty...empties out in evening. More

Like other reviews have said, the double bed is too small. Whereever we stay we're always surprised that there's no place to put suitcases. I remember that some of the light fittings were broken, and some other things needed attention. More

Good site at the top end of Cuba St, close to just about every culinary taste. The location is superb, just on the corner of Cuba Street. The two bedroom apartment that we got was really tiny. Rooms were very small, and furnishings were very basic. Had expected the apartment to be a bit bigger and we were disappointed. More

Found the staff very helpful and friendly. We had one double room and one two room apartment. Smallish but very adaquate for the price. The rooms were showing their age but seemed clean and tidy. I stayed at Southern Cross Apartments for a week in October 2009. For $66 NZD per night (weekly rate) for a studio apartment, I got great value for money. I booked directly on their website and had no problems with check-in. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower was great, and the kitchen had everything I needed.... More
