I recently stayed at The Mermaid Guesthouse for 2 weeks and found it to be absolutely wonderful!!! The owners are very welcoming and very accomodating. There is a feeling of peace and calm throughout this Guesthouse and this adds to the overall enjoyment of being a guest at The Mermaid! Would recommend it without a moments hesitation!

We found this place to be rather disappointing for the money. At $135 a night I expected the ensuite to have a bath tub but there was only a shower and the bathroom was very cramped.
