Well, the only thing good with this place is the location. We had such questionable sheets that we decided to use our sleeping bag liners. The rooms were fairly spacious but the beds were very creaky and felt unstable. The bathrooms were very basic and had clumps of hair everywhere.

Having read other reviews I felt I should have my say, Rowena's is going through a transformation. while we were staying there they had painters and carpet layers working what seemed round the clock. Having left it quite late to find somewhere to stay the i-site in Picton booked us in at Rowena's Lodge. What a mistake! First impressions weren't great and the room we ended up in was dirty, stank of smoke and was well overpriced for what you got!
