Awesome experience. Would recommend it to anyone coming to the Wellington region or to Wellingtonians themselves (like myself). Me and my partner toke offer of the weekend getaway and turned out to be the perfect engagement weekend away. “Wellington getaway”

Loved our restful stay and Annette and John’s warm hospitality. A lovely break away for a weekend with beautiful harbour views and a very relaxing spa pool under the pohutakawa tree. BLISS. A short walk to coffee bars and retail therapy and can recommend Cobar for an evening meal. Enjoyed streaming TV to the Ipad - we want one now!!!!... More

While on New Zealand Tour in November 2011 I spend a weekend in the Wellington area in Days Bay Homestay. It was a little bit like coming home. Very kind and friendly host and stunning views from the Crowsnest suite at the top of the tower even when the weather is stormy……. This is the place to be !!

We would recommend this homestay for anyone looking for an escape (no matter how brief) from chaotic family life! It provided the perfect mix of warm and friendly hosting, privacy and a sense of our own space. The sunny aspect and sea views of the crow's nest room made for a wonderful afternoon retreat. “Wonderful Weekend Getaway”

This small piece of paradise provided a perfect relaxing stay. The hosts were marvellous – friendly but not intrusive. The view from the crow’s nest is magnificent and the spar under the trees at night was special.
