Nice staff, looked after me well,weather was rubish while we were here but we stayed in watched movies, drank beer and made friends with some nice austrian chicks. Good times! Prefere these place to the likes of base and global backpackers.

This Hostel was very homely and welcoming! Stayed almost two weeks, and found it alot more quiet then the hostels i'm use to staying in. The place was kept very tidy and staff were extremely helpful. Prices were also good nice and cheap recommend to all!
This is a small hostel (a "backpackers" in the NZ lingo) outside of the center of Taupo. The building is small, and rooms do not have private bath. There are three shared showers and two shared toilets for all the guests. The room we had, a double, was inexpensive -- NZ$44 -- but unimpressive. It was our least favorite place...
