“Poor value for money and robotic staff”

On check-in was spoken to like a robot and was subjected to attempts to 'sell' parking (!!), bell service loyalty club, upgrades, bookings for everything in the area- all with a price- nothing complimentary (even taking our bags to the room which we would have expected was just 'done' in a hotel with these rates and compared to other hotels... “Blissful overnight stay”

Stunning accommodation with a view to die for. Room was spacious and classy. Amenities were superb. Parking options to suit individual preferences. Service was impeccable. We received a very warm welcome and would definitely stay again!

“Fourth Time at the wonderful Hilton Hotel”

As the title says this is the fourth time we have stayed here. It is an excellent stop over when travelling further down the country as it has such lovely rooms, pools and restaurant. We will continue to stay here whenever we are travelling through Taupo. You cannot beat it.

Overall very good and value for money. We did have a package deal. Room was all that was expected. Clean, tidy and attractive. Any room service was respectfully provided with all required help sorted without fuss

Had a single night stopover at Lake Taupo. Suite very comfortable, dinner venue had amazing views across to the lake as the sun went down and the meal was stunningly good. The underground secured parking was well worth the option. The swimming pool looked inviting though we didn't get time to use it. would recommend as a stopover venue

The best facilities at the hotel is the pool complex. Relax in the naturally heated spa pool in the early evening, look at the stars and then go to dinner at Bistro Lago. Got offered to upgrade to a lake view room. DEFINITELY Worth it. California king bed, Massive bathroom with underfloor heating, Massive shower. This is quality.
