A very comfortable Bed and Breakfast place. Large home with a huge guest bathroom. One hectare (2.5 acres) of grounds. We only stayed the one night but would like to have stayed for much longer. Excellent service and a great breakfast.

Great spot and with views of the lake and amazing grounds, we enjoyed the stay and even stayed and extra night, The owner of the property was full of good advice for trips and local events on offer.
The Acacia Bay Lodge is a beautiful house located about 5 minutes from central Taupo and has great views to Lake Taupo and Mount Tauhara beyond. There are beautiful gardens around the house and the interior is equally stunning. The bedroom was very comfortable with views onto the garden and the spacious bathroom was excellent. Not only are the accommodations and view fantastic, the massive back yard (size of a small farm) is perfect for the children to run off and play in. Wife and I hardly saw the kids (aged 7 and 4) as they entertained themselves outdoors. Felt like we had a baby sitter (Mother Nature) for free! Add to all that the...

From arrival we felt like we were staying with family. Deb sat down and had a glass...
