This timeshare resort is on the edge of Lake Taupo about three kilometres from the town centre. It is family friendly and right on the bank of the lake. Sunset walks along the bike/walking path were pleasant, as was the resort itself. The apartments are two storey with attractive views from the second floor. We had a week here in a very luxurious timeshare resort - such quality fixtures & fittings and crockery, glassware etc. The view over the lake was an extra bonus with our own private balcony area with bbq. A great position to head off to do all your sightseeing whether it be to Rotorua or to the magnificent Bayview Chateau.... More

The newly refurbished 12 apartment Lake Edge Resort Taupo is definitely worth a stay. The mediterranean styled 2 bedroom 3 bathroom units sleep 7, and include full kitchen & laundry facilities, with a BBQ & patio furniture on the lower deck.
