“Convenient place to stay”

The Gateway was a good price and it included breakfast. Although I didn't know I was supposed to put in a menu request the night before so missed out both days. Wotif made it sound great, it was sad, tired, dirty and badly run down.The fridge stank of fish. The towels were almost threadbare and faded orange, The blanket had trains on it suitable for a nursery. Only thing decent was the TV

What can I say it was like entering a time warp. Genuine 60's decor of a poor family would best describe it. The towels were stiff like cardboard and had once been orange in colour.
