There are lots and lots and lots of places to stay in Rotorua. We used Tripadvisor in our selection and have to say everything lived up to the billing. We had unit 6 which had a terrific spa shower the likes of which I've never seen before (it even greets you when you enter and thanks you for using it... More

I choose this from Trip Advisor and wasn't disappointed, the hosts were as genuinely friendly and helpful as everyone said and the room was very clean, spacious, WARM and comfortable. Unfortunately our stay was for one night only as we were enroute to Auckland. If we had had more time in Rotorua we would have stayed at Malfroy Motor Lodge longer. It was perfect for our needs. We returned after a year to find Malfroy Motor Lodge even better value than before. As always, spotlessly clean rooms. Hot pools and common areas in excellent order. Beautiful gardens.
