My parents, two sisters and myself (all adults) stay in the family unit which we booked for one night but eventually we stayed for two nights. The unit meets our needs and it is clean. The host/manager (in unit 4) is extremely helpful, friendly and kind. Coming from a different country and with different culture, we felt welcomed (that's why... More

We found our room to be spotlessly clean and the beds very comfortable. We had a spa bath that I couldn't get into because of sore back/leg but the owner Greg gave me the keys to another unit for the night so I could shower.Nothing was too much trouble to him. Also let us stay on till 11.30am instead of... More

This Motel is close enough to the wharf area for trips around the Bay but far enough away from the hub to be peaceful. Owner and staff are very helpful and friendly; arranged our next Motel and our trip to Ninety Mile Beach etc. Well located for a visit to the Waitangi Treaty Grounds etc. More

Not sure how they qualify as a 4* would only be a 3* in my opinion Not good value for money at $220 per night for a 1bedroom unit (3people) but... More
