Very enjoyable stay. Lovely clean comfortable rooms with nice decor in the original Art Deco style. My friends and I had a great night sleep in very comfortable beds. Good service too. Would happily recommend.

Love the idea, but suffered due to the late night noise coming from the restaurant downstairs and the other guests in the corridor. Otherwise it was a nice room, though no view, but opened onto the shared balcony. The window blind let a lot of light in too.

We stayed here for two nights and while Napier the town wasn't all I heard it would be the Masonic was a great place to stay and the convenience of having the two restaurants and bars attached was great. Lots of care taken with presentation also.The Masonic is very central and you can walk pretty much everywhere from here.

We stayed for 3 nights attending a conference. The staff was so friendly and helpful with phoning for taxis, advising where to eat and storing our luggage on the last day. We had a renovated room. Very clean. The breakfast at the Emporium was excellent and the roast dinner in the Irish pub Sunday night good value for money.

There were a number of pluses with this Art Deco hotel that has been tastefully decorated, however it also has it drawbacks. Lovely building. We took a recently renovated room, very nice and very clean, if a little small. Two nights would be plenty in the allotted space. The staff were very good indeed. We went for the breakfast and thou roughly recommend it, plenty to keep one going all day.
