We have stayed here three times now and would't stay anywhere else in napier. Each time we've stayed we have booked the largest double, which has beautiful seaviews but it is still very reasonably priced. The whole property is lovely. The first time we stayed Neil was our host, and the second two times it has been Catherine one of... More

Had a wonderful 2 night break. Catherine and Evert are so friendly and incredibly helpful without being overbearing. From booking our wine tour with vinny (excellent), dropping us off as mission winery for a lovely dinner and putting us in touch with a local mechanic! Our room was very elegant and had lovely views and a huge comfy bed. Living... More

My husband and I stayed here while visiting Napier - the accommodations were great - we were upstairs, and the living room area adjacent to our room made it feel like we had our own apartment - with lovely views from the balcony. Our hosts Catherine and Evert were gracious and accommodating (they even picked us up from the airport,... More

We stayed here in February. Lovely, light, large room looking over the main road onto the sea. Very quiet despite the road (and I'm a light sleeper). Lovely breakfast in another large, light room downstairs. The owner, Catherine, is energetic, friendly and helpful (she even turned our car round for us in their narrow street!). It's just a few minutes'... More

From the moment we phoned to the time we left we felt special. We were warmly welcomed and offered practical and useful information without being overwhelmed. Our host was friendly and interested in us. She did everything possible to make our stay relevant and enjoyable. The accommodation was spacious and tastefully decorated to a very high standard. The breakfast served... More

We arrived fairly early in the afternoon from Taupo, and were warmly welcomed by Catherine. We stayed two nights but were the only guests the first night, and had the entire upper floor to ourselves. It's a home with real character, having been built over 100 years ago but survived the 1931 quake and has since been lovingly restored. It... More

We got there at the end of a rainy day, and our host will tell you to bring anything for the 4 seasons, should you come in NZ :-) Walking distance to city center, this quiet and cosy place is just so nice ! Although our bathroom was not in our bedroom, the latter was just so nice with an... More

it doesn't look it from the outside, but it is a nice, tasteful b&b with friendly hosts, clean rooms with comfortable beds and a spacious living room for the guests, close to the beautiful art deco city center (5 minutes walk) adn the pebble beach (not really nice for swimming) More

Super little place with great views just a few steps up from Marine Parade. Spotless, comfortable room with huge bed. Neil always on hand for advice and served a nice little breakfast on the balcony. More
