Although it has taken a while for me to write this review, it is by no means a reflection of my opinion. We stayed here in January, together with my inlaws who were visiting from the UK. The service was absolutely brilliant - the afternoon muffins on Day 1 a lovely touch! I would recommend the Econo Lodge to all! More

Better late than never!!! Especially when you had a great time - All positive reviews are so helpful to growing and knowing what our customers like and wht we need to focus on. Travelled with family from Auckland to Wellington. Found econo lodge in Napier and had a fantastic stay. Not only affordable but everything you need. Meals in the restaurant were great and catered for different palates. I would like to note this is the opinion of one person, the other four people who shared this room found the service to be excellent. Staff were busy but helpful. I am really disappointed by your comments. We obviously failed to meet our own expectations of service which should be higer than our guests. It is always difficult at check in time when there are different people staying in the same room under different names -BUT we should have done better. The laudry has a brand new dryer and newish... from the outside you dont realise how modern and comfortable the rooms are. Best bed i have ever had in a motel/pub. Nice and quiet with the separate cabins, carpark right outside the room, and the bathroom was nicer than mine at home!. friendly and helpful staff More

Our Architect will be horrified at you thoughts on his colour scheme HA-HA........Even Mahon was misunderstood. Glad you did have a great time though - Cheers & Beers Jeremy Bayliss - Will be looking at a brighter colour scheme!!! More

Very impressed by the tidy and clean accommodation. The staff are friendly and you are just around the corner from the beach. Excellent value for money. I look forward to visiting Econo Lodge again in 2012. More
