Booked a twin room on the hotel side when my daughter and I made a quick trip up for the Frankie Valli concert in April. Room was excellent, warm and clean and, as I thought when booking, it was within easy walking distance of the Vector Arena. Car parking a bonus too. Would definately stay here again on any trip... Had nice stay in Jucy, nights were not noisy and we had good sleep, staff was helpful and nice. Hotel itself needs a bit renovation, at least bathrooms... and kitchen should have more cups. Otherwise would definately recommend. More

This place simply gets it right. It is the most basic of hotels but the rooms are extremely clean and very large. We arrived at Jucy Hotel at 2am and the receptionist was very helpful and helped us book in within minutes. I was extremely impressed with the value for money for the rooms at the place. There were four of us and we were able to get a 4 person room for only $20 a night each which was pretty impressive.... More

Booked at Jucy Rental (when picking up campervan). Was midwinter there, and nice to have roof over heads for the first night, Clean and warm enough room, with 'en suite'. Helpful staff. I booked this hotel online, rooms looked clean, I thought this was a hotel. When I arrived at the hostel, it smelt damp on the floor I was staying on. This was a stay I booked for my mother while visiting Auckland for two nights (en-suite double). The main problem was that sewage leaked from the en-suite's toilet in the first room, and that the paper-thin walls let in all the noise from the reception area.
