This hotel is showing its age and cannot really be regarded as anything better than the average three star hotels we have stayed in on our various travels. The views are great and the bedroom decor satisfactory. The air con/heating maintains a consistent 25 degrees and we found this uncontrollable so had to sleep with the window ajar and were... More

Have stayed here many times as the location is perfect and every room has a harbor view. Room was warm, clean and a comfy bed. Dinner was tasty and breakfast provided standard hot and cold choice. But, the checkout service was terrible - the person was on own at peak time and made no attempt to get help or acknowledge... More

This hotel is directly across the street from the cruise terminal, and close to the ferry terminal. We took the Airport Express (Blue Bus) from the airport to the ferry terminal ($16 pp.) then an easy walk to the hotel. We arrived late, so we grabbed something to eat from the Subway across the street. The next morning we watched... More

I had such a wonderful time in this hotel. Staff were great. Nothing was a problem for them. I dealt with four different staff members at the front counter when we check in and out. All of them were amazing and could not be more helpful. My husband a I have stayed there three times now and will not stay... More

Stayed here for 2 nights in a twin room with excellent views of the harbour. Chose the hotel for it's location to the cruise ship departure point, it is a 3 minute walk ! All of Auckland is easily accessible from this hotel, parking is available on site and it is hard to beat for price. However, the staff are... More

I stayed here on a recent trip and was very dissapointed with the quality of the hotel. Room was tragic and the bathroom extremely poor. Yes it has a great location... staff tell me the hotel is to be demolished and replaced completely in the coming year... a good move given this is VERY POOR 4 STAR!!! No Wireless access... More

We recently stayed 4 days and found the location to be exceptional. The views from the room were fantastic and the amenities were adequate but slightly tired - in saying that it did not detract from our experience. We will definely return. More

We have stayed in many hotels all over the world, and tried this particular one for the first time. We rate it extremely highly, and will now always be our first choice whenever staying in Auckland. A fantastic find. Decor of both rooms we had was tasteful, room could not be faulted; breakfast excellent, and reception/telephone ladies were very helpful... More

First impression should have been a warning - struggled through revolving door with 2 bags and no help - that was because there was nobody at reception! After checking in and going to room, more disappointment - built in 1973, obviously not updated since then! No air conditioning or fan for hot room, small old TV, one of the main... More

Stayed here for 2 nights. The most comfortable beds we've slept on in a long time. Very clean & Roomy. Very close to everything, especially good was the walk across the road to the Viaduct with all the great Resaurants. More
