This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I understand that there were significant renovations being undertaken but...... where shall I start. The "newly renovated room" I was in had chipped paint on the walls, the bathroom seemed "incomplete" i.e. cracks in the shower roof and the plumbing behind the toilet looked unfinished. I stayed here for 3 nights on business. Despite being in a good location, the so called "refurbishments" we're very poorly executed. Pretty much a lick of paint and some new furnishings. The bathroom still had the original shower frame which was disgusting, it had brown grimy stuff around the edges and the toilet was at leat 20 years old.... More

Was expecting the worst - particularly when we showed up and the lobby was a construction zone. Was pleasantly surprised when I got up to the room - absolutely brand spanking new, very nicely appointed with all the fixtures and fittings. Pros: great location, close to the city and a quick walk uphill to Kings Park. Good value for Perth $200 corporate rate. Renovated rooms are quite good. 3 hours free Internet per day. Nice surprise considering the poor reviews that i had read in the past, wasnt sure what to expect.
