If you enjoy socially-challenged slobs in gumboots clearly put out to receive you, you'll warm to your hosts at Mt Hart instantly. Great place, we really enjoyed this place. Food, room, location and service is great . Hope we can come back soon. Gibb river road is a great drive

We spent one night at the Mt Hart Wilderness Lodge in July 2010, a group of four travellers, in the newer of the two homestead buildings. It's remote and isolated and cut off by rains for months of the year and so, given that, it's probably wrong to expect a lot.
