Basic and clean room in a great location. This is the perfect hotel on a budget in Melbourne CBD, walking distance to Theatres, Restaurants, Cinemas and Bars. I love the top end of Melbourne and this was perfect for our night out on the town. Plan to spend your time out and about and use this as a place to... More

This hotel was quite central to chinatown. The room was quite small and seemed to feel a bit dated. Bed was comfortable and had a good nights sleep. There was a standard window right above the shower, so people from the neighboring towers could look in at night when the light was on. Staff were helpful and nice, but the... More

the room, although clean and quiet, was a bit small but we didn't pay a lot..we did buy the cheapest room available, perhaps spending more to get a better room would eliminate this for future travellers. the telly let off a buzzing noise and the fridge had a water puddle in it, but besides that, a standard budget room was... Stayed here for one night for business - met all my needs. Staff very friendly and let us check in early which was very helpful. The hotel is an old historical building - so it is a bit quirky and interesting. Dont stay here if you want a modern building. Room had all the basics and included a kitchenette. TV... More

I stayed here for two nights while in Melbourne for meetings and a conference. The room was well designed, with a fully functional kitchenette, and comfortable large bed and lounge room area. The location was particularly conveniant for my business meetings and I only had a short and enjoyable walk to the Rydges on Swanson for my conference. Good value... More

Tucked away in the rather quiet Little Burke Street, but in a good position to reach other points in the city. I was upgraded to a one bedroom suite which was very comfortable and clean with all the amenities that come with an apartment Hotel. Many of the rooms face direct to the walls of other buildings, and the glass... More

Needed Grand Prix weekend accommodation so not much left to choose from even 6 months away. Seemed OK from the website - 2 bedroom apartment for $310 pn. We were there very early (10.30am) and assumed rooms would not be ready but needed to drop the luggage off. Received a very friendly and prompt check-in - we had 2 x... More

I was really pleased with my lovely room which was their top of the line, called a double deluxe. It had a bedroom which was separated from the lounge kitchen area. I loved the layout, it was perfect for entertaining and suited me well as I had friends visiting me whilst I stayed there. I will definitely go back and... More

We stayed a couple of nights here. On arrival we were offered a room upgrade which was really appreciated. The room was smart, clean and functional and provided a great base for the weekend. There a great range of restaurants and bars within a couple of blocks and being located near Chinatown the range of eateries nearby is fantastic. Reception... More

Hi, Just had a quick 2 night stay at the Somerset Gordon Heights in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. I booked this hotel as I was travelling as a single person and was attending a conference in Melbourne. I wanted to stay close to restaurants and this certainly was being at the top end of Little Bourke Street in Melbourne - virtually... More
