Do not EVER go here. Seriously, don't. The location may be close to the beach, that doesn't make up for the mess in here. Hot, dirty and moisture rooms, blood sucking bedbugs everywhere, bad and unfriendly staff, everyone smokes drugs in the building including the owner. No refunds, no service. Firstly this place is not for everyone but its up there as one of my best hostels in Australia It is rundown and dirty, for sure but its the staff and the other guests that make it such a fantastic place to stay. You will be sure to meet some of the best people and i would recommend it 100%.... More

All I can say is DO NOT STAY HERE!!! This is probably the worst backpackers in the history of backpackers. It's dirty, run down and the manager looks like he shoots up every 10 minutes. HUGE rip off! I booked this hostel months ago. I rang up two days before we arrived to confirm and there was absolutely no problems. When we arrived it took him 45 minutes to find us a room. This place was awesome. The crowd here were great. Tim the night manager is a bit moody, but quite funny and a good guy at heart. We had so many good late night drinking sessions, drinking 4 litre boxes of filth wine. Its clean, well looked after and the building is an old beautiful manor house, and as for location... More
