I've stayed here a few times on business trips to Melbourne and will do so again. The apartments aren't super flash and show their age a bit but they are perfectly functional and clean. They're a short walk from hundreds of great restaurants on Lygon St in Carlton and a great art house cinema. Fitzroy is 15 minutes walk away.... More

This is a very well run, clean and comfortable apartment. For the money you get good value. Nothing luxurious but all you need in a self-contained unit very close to the CBD. The free tourist bus is just around the corner as are supermarkets, restaurants and a cinema - cheap tickets on Mondays. All round excellent choice. More

The location was amazing - we were one street back from Lygon Street (so had incredible breakfasts every day), and a 20-30 minute walk from Brunswick Street, right near a tram line into the city, and a free sightseeing bus which ran along Lygon Street.
