Well situated for an inner city experience. I've now stayed at the Mercure Welcome twice while on business trips to Melbourne. It's well located for the meetings I attend, and is also so convenient for restaurants, shows and shopping. As we were unable to stay at the Swanston, we decided to try the Welcome Hotel. (I have stayed at the Welcome on numerous occasions over a period of twenty years.).
