Having booked the St Ives for a 6 night stay in May after reading reviews in TripAdvisor I was not disappointed. Everything about it was excellent - comfort, cleanliness, proximity to Salamanca, Hobart City, Sandy Bay, helpful staff, and adjoining bottle shop! Who could ask for more. I will return.

Modern clean refurbished, very comfortable beds, on site parking, good lift access , simple furnishings, pleasant but not luxurious, nice views from verandah, nice and quiet. considering location. Has austar with good reception

Very conveniently located in historic Battery Point, an easy walk to Salamanca, Sandy Bay and City. We stayed here in early May in the double premier room. The room was spacious with a little but well equipped kitchenette, a fabulous bathroom, strong shower, high quality toiletries & towels, comfortable king sized bed, a huge TV screen, free strong wi fi. The room in this hotel actually had a very comfortable bed and pillows which is rare! And the room was spotless, a winner for me. Staff were friendly and obliging. I can't really fault anything about this place, it's clean, stylish, close to the cbd. Whilst we were here there was only one dryer working which was a little problematic but nothing too severe. I would definitely return!
