The hotel was ok, our room had been redecorated but the halls and lobby are quite dated. It is a fairly basic hotel but was clean and adequate for us. We got a mystery deal on this hotel, so it was $105 per night - we used the savings to eat out in Hobart. We liked the location, as we... More

I used 25,000 points to stay here for one night and would not recommend it. The room was dirty and felt very unclean. A mistake in my opinion. Thought I had booked a room with breakfast included but was not given and the staff had a big problem getting the points rate valid. More

10/10 for location 4th floor noisy. Traffic and noise from next rooms. Water noise talking and a whole lot more. The furniture falling apart. Missing draws. for the price there surely much better in town. Not for me again. More

We stayed in a Studio room which cost us $150.00. There was a World Title Fight on in Hobart that night and they'd obviously pumped the price up because of it. The room was on the 3rd Floor and was extremely small, outdated and very noisy - you could hear the Pedestrian Crossing Lights out on the street beeping when... More

As others have said, it's in an excellent location and has several ammenities that make for a comfortable stay (Refridge, Hotpot, Iron, TV, etc.). It has nice views looking out over the city (on the upper floors), rooms were clean and the reception was nice (well, the first night). So why give it only 3 stars? Well, a few things.... More

This hotel has been in operation in Hobrat for many years, small rooms butdget priced, freindly staff, rooms were cleaned by contact cleaners, to an adequate level, well stocked tea coffee and biscuits, great tv with free movies-and good reception-a plus in the cold hobart weather. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming. i stayed a week, room over loooking carpark... More

Position! Position! Position! Only 1.5 blocks from the Mall -- you won't do better! Rooms were a little small compared with others that our group of 42 used, but they were quite adequate, well furnished, very clean, serviced, and, really all that you require to visit Hobart. Only "la-de'da's" would pay extra for other hotel rooms so close to the... More

Room was very basic but adequate for our needs. Unfortunately, I left some clothing behind in the wardrobe. My wife contacted the hotel and was told that they would look into it and return her call. A week later, still no response. I called the hotel and asked if they had "looked" into yet and they said they would get... More
