We stayed here in March for 2 nights and couldn't expect more for the price we paid. Upon arrival we were greeted by the very warm & helpful owner. He was quick to point out all the sites we should take in during our time in and around Hobart. As we had a hired car, he drew out routes on... More

Pleasantly surprised and very happy with the room for the price. Lovely soft bed if you like that which we did. The only disappointment if you could use that word was the TV, but as we weren't here to watch Telly it is a minor whinge. Had a lovey meal at the Soho pub up the road - great value... More

We stayed in this B&B for three nights, and it was our best accommodation of our Australian trip. We had a large room on the 2nd floor. The building, being a historic property, has some wear and tear, but the room and furnishings (including flat screen tv and fridge) were new and well-maintained. We were on the busy road side,... I arrived at this B&B at around 12:30pm and the room wasn't ready. Since check in was only until 2 pm, they asked us to wait 15 min. The room we were given was on the lower level. It's exteremely small and there's even 5 steps inside the room. My mattress was too soft, so the sleping quality wasn't that... More

I stayed in the B&B for three nights, I was impressed by the style of gallery and helpful staff. When I first came into the B & B, I found it quite different from others, it is a gallery as well as a heritage, I do appreciate the art and the feel of history there. The staff there were very... More

hotel is not far from CDB but on very busy , noisy street, cross street at light beeps all night. The walls and ceiling of the room were stained and peeling, linens were not clean. I did ask for and got another room the next night. Caters mainly to an asian clientele who appears to LIVE there. More

We decided to stay at a more expensive bed and breakfast instead of a hotel. What a big mistake! Our room was like a dungeon at a level below a very busy street that never came to rest; we could not open a window or the dusty curtains. The linen had stains on!! The room was dirty and there were... More

We had bedroom with en-suite. Blinds did not pull up, only half electric blanket working, bathroom in poor state with gaps around window frame, no plug in basin, and rotted woodwork near bath. Breakfast poorly provided, staff filling cereal containers from weetbix box with own hands, very cramped in preparation area once more than two people trying to make breakfast at... More

Good location and clean but very noisy and our room smelt of stale cigarettes. Breakfast was not what was advertised. On arrival we were told there was free wireless, but when my son asked for the password, they said it would cost $5? We left early. I wish I'd read Trop Adviser before I booked! Loved Hobart More
