Accommodation and amenity: We stayed in the Hawthorn room which is on the first floor facing the street. The street noise is noticeable as the building location is on a hill and the street traffic is powering up the slope. I didn’t really find the noise an issue, despite being a fairly light sleeper. The view out the window over... More

We only stayed here one night, arriving quite late after a delayed flight. We were met in the car park and made feel very welcome. Large, clean, comfortable room. Great bed. Excellent continental breakfast. Beats any big hotel, hands down! More

We stayed at this B&B 2 nights and and had great time. The host was very welcoming and friendly. It's a heritage building with nice clean rooms and a beautiful garden. Very good breakfast overlooking the bay of Hobart. More

Very friendly hosts. Perfect location near Elisabeth st north. The waterfront is approx 20min walk or take the bus/taxi. Free Port and candy, good breaky (continental, but incl boiled eggs). The rooms are classic, clean en have nice bathrooms. We enjoyed our stay! More

Although we stayed here only one night we were made very welcome. The house was an old mansion and retains a lot of its character. The owner was very friendly and helpful. There were a number of restaurants within a five minute walk. Our room was very acceptable. More

We stayed at this B&B for nights and really enjoyed it. Our Hawthorn room was quite large and comfortable, though shower was a bit old and dark. Bed was very comfortable with electric blanket. Breakfast had good selection of various things though seemed like all was from supermarket except may be eggs, not home made or anything like that. Good... More

The room allocated to us upstairs at the back was not acceptable as it was so tiny and dark, so we had to "upgrade" to a larger room, downstairs at the front which was a lot better, although an extra $45 per night ($195 per night)! Nicely located and the breakfast and also the lollies and port were a nice... More

Lovely well maintained, peaceful, heritage home with lovely garden. Excellent bathroom (we had fluffy large white towels), comfortable bed and good location. Good restaurants 5 minutes away but found out you need to book Sat nite. Breakfast was just right, not over the top. Tina was fantastic -nothing too much trouble. More

This B&B was great - clean rooms, nice hostess and a fantastic location. I'd definately recommend this one. If I could change one thing - I would ask the owners to machine dry their towels. Air dried towels are crispy and hard. I want a nice soft towel after my shower. Other than that, everything was great! Tina even provided... More

Good location for north Hobart restaurant strip etc, lovely grounds and the rooms are very comfortable ( if a little kitchy in decor). Hosts are friendly, free wifi, DVD selection and pretty good breakfast. More
