The rooms were clean but not serviced properly. Each day they emptied the bin but I had to ask for toilet paper and milk for my tea. They took towels for washing but did not replace them - I had to borrow some from a friend in another room as the reception had closed. Not all the rooms had heating...

We stayed here for 3 days/2nights. Motel is old and some people might find it unattractive. Motel is not far from the city centre which is in good location but their neon signs are turned off at night and you might miss your turn going in to motel. It is a very basic motel, good parking and have friendly staff....

Could be a great motel if it had...

One of the good motels we have stayed in Australia. Spacious family rooms & lots of parking space at the back. Happy to be back in future.

It is not a very...

Our 2nd stop after Melbourne was at Tower Motel. Located in New Town, North Hobart. 5 minutes drive to the city via the Brooker Hwy, or a 10 minutes drive via Agryle Road. Good location. 5 minutes drive to Elizabeth St., where cafes are open till late night. Big parking.
Nice view. Clean rooms, but the bed was rather saggy...

The motel at New Town, a northern suburb close to Hobart CBD, is rated 3 stars with modest cost - we chose a standard room (which is bigger) instead of a budget room. Imagine our surprise when checking into room 9, closest one to reception, we found our motel room had a chandelier! Not only that it was large &...
