Really nice place to stay, really clean and welcoming. The couple who owns the hostel is amazing, they are really friendly and kind! I spent 2 weeks here waiting for a trip in Antarctica and i really enjoyed my time. The facilities are great: internet connection, kitchen, laundries, living room with tv and really sanitaries. The place to go if... More

The hostel is really clean and quiet but the room is small and basic. In the ensuite double room we stayed, the size of the toilet is acceptable but the room is just big enough for a bed, a small bedside table and two luggage boxes. It does not provide parking space but off-street parking is easy to find. They... More

The perfect place to stay after hiking the Overland Track. Quiet, cosy and close to lots of cool things (restaurants, cinemas, shopping etc). It's always hard to find a good, quiet hostel that isn't full of party animals. This place had lots of signs around to remind guests to be quiet after 10pm! Hooray! Loud trouble makers will be evicted!... More

I have been staying 3 times at this hostel for a variuous number of nights (max 4). I could easily plan my trip throughout Tasmania - FREE internet - then get some rest between 2 treks, and then get a final good rest before leaving Tasmania. The owners are simple and really friendly. The kitchen is CLEAN and has plenty... More

I stayed here twice. The linen and bathrooms are clean, the staff is helpful, the location is pretty central. There is a variety of sizes of rooms and the kitchen is pretty big and has all sorts of cooking "equipment". What more can you ask for?. More

Stepping through the front door I felt at home, the colourful common area is both relaxing and stimulating for conversations. The kitchen is spotless and well organized with plenty of bench space to prepare food. The bathrooms/showers are clean and spacious. The bunks are sturdy with thick comfy mattresses. I felt safe and happy here. More

I just love this hostel. The owner was very friendly and warm so that I felt little bit sorry for staying only for one night there. If only I hadn't book my accomodation at St. Helens for the next day I wouldn't think twice extending my stay there. Me & hubby booked one private ensuite room for a very good... More

We've stayed here in a dorm, private room with shared facilities and private en suite and all have been clean, well maintained and good value for money. It's conveniently close to the lovely area of battery point and not far from the centre of town. It's a friendly mixed crowd of older and younger people. It's been quiet at night... More

I booked an ensuite room for 3 nights. The room was small but clean and he bed very comfy. Bathroom small but had everything you needed. It's about a 10 minute walk to the Harbour / CBD but easy enough to get around. The owners are very friendly and the common areas / TV room / kitchen were spotless. Wifi... More
