What a find, with great views overlooking tranquil Emu Bay and very friendly, hospitable hosts. We stayed in Cottage 3 with uninterrupted views of the stunning bay. A fantastic location with beautiful views and a 500m walk to the beach. We stayed in cabin 1 (budget) which is open-plan with double bed, 2 sets of bunks, kitchen area and a separate toilet/shower. We couldn't have chosen a better place in Kangaroo Island. The houses are located on a slope overlooking Emu Bay, which gave us stunning views of the blue tranquil waters of the Bay. I have quite simply never experienced such warm hospitality as that received at Emu Bay Holiday homes (which, in fact, is a set of private hotel cabins rather than vacation rental homes). Ann Horbelt and her husband were not only excellent hosts, but they went far beyond the call of duty with my stay. Sure, you might stay somewhere else... More
