An older style hotel - friendly attentive staff - clean. But dining facilities need a makeover - rather inadequate in busy times. The room was clean comfortable but an older style and had been renovated with an unusual en-suite.

Briefly stayed in the hotel on business. Overall, a very decent place for a reasonable price. Location is very good for the Festival Theater and the Convention Centre. I choose to stay at the Mercure Adelaide as it is good value and extremely central for all my requirements. I has a good exercise facility and the staff have always been excellent,inattention to detail. I have no reason to try other hotels, Don Chambers

Hotel was extremely clean & suits those looking for clean comfortable accommodation. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was a little expensive for what was served. Overall, great place & location, room a tad small but it suited me this trip.

The Mercure is in a perfect location to see most of the major sights of Adelaide. It's just a few minutes walk to the historic art gallery, museum, university and the Rundle Mall shopping precinct. We stayed here for one night as we were being picked up the following morning to go on a trip to Kangaroo island. Our room (described by reception as one of the better rooms) was small, clean, good bathroom and overlooked a grotty exterior wall at back of the hotel which was quieter. No shampoo in room. Parking underground very hard to navigate even in a small car. Could not get into the hotel at street level and had to drive around the block several times then ring the hotel to find out where to park to check in.Very confusing.
