very clean, friendly staff, close to shops, the only negative was the besser block walls which make this excellent motel look a little outdated. This is a very good Motel to stay. Rob Richters

Stayed for 1 night in the 2 bedroom family apartment and was highly impressed with what the room had to offer. The apartment was extremely spacious and very happy with the second bedroom with a huge flat screen tv and a whisper quiet aircon. One of the best I have stayed in will definitely go back.

Stayed her for three nights recently, could not ask for anything more. The owners, Emma and David, are excellent hosts, the rooms a very clean, neat and tidy and the meals in the restaurant are great. The biggest oysters I have seen. Will be staying there again soon.

We just recently stayed at the Colonial Rose Motel with 2 children under 5. We had the family room and it was perfect for me and my children. We stayed here overnight on our way from Gold Coast to Cairns and back again. The motel had everything we needed, well placed to shops and eating places and easy to find on the main route through town.
