Beautiful old Queenslander house in a quiet residential area. Comfortable room with verandah and everything you needed, including a glass of sherry or port. Breakfast was fresh fruit platter, freshly squeezed orange juice, a  choice of hot food and toast. The owners were friendly, welcoming and helpful.

We had 3 nights at Athlestane House. Hosts Marion and Stan are warm and friendly and offer geneous hospitality. Guests have full access to their home ,including spacious well appointed bedrooms with walk in dressing room and ensuite, dining and sitting room and sunny verandahs-a home away from home. The gourmet breakfast is not to be missed!
