The mango tree apartments are very basic. They provided what we needed and no more. They were very dirty and we were fighting off massive cockroaches that scampered across the floor and up the walls. The service was bad and after owning up to a accidental broken glass we had to pay for it!!! Wouldn't go back!

We (a couple and 1 friend) stayed here for 5 days because of the 2012 Solar eclipse. We were very satisfied with this accommodation. We had chosen a 2 bedroom apartment. Nice big apartment but decor looked a bit tired so could do with freshening up. Location is good, about 15 - 20 mins from Macrossan Street area. Good access to Four Mile Beach. Nice and quiet at night around the apartments.

We had a two bedroom apartment, well equipped and spacious. Very clean and in a good location for the money. Local bus runs past the door in Port Douglas and a taxi is only about $10. Try the Nautilus for a feed if you have lost of spare cash!!

Great apartment for the money I spent. I stayed there on a 7 night special. Little bit of a distance from the main street, but not too far to walk. Port Douglas has an excellent bus service which runs from 7am to 12 at night if you don't want to walk. And it's also close to the beach. Great value... More
