My review is probably in between some of the others on this page, though all reviews raise points that I would concur with. Firstly, the Boathouse has an EXCELLENT location right in the middle of Macrossan St. Unlike the plethora of other accomodation also to be found in the area, it was not: a) above a busy shopping area/ food... We had booked the apparment already months in advance. When arrived we were confrontated with an appartment which had water damage, curtains in the bedrooms that did not close. We had also a tiny bathroom and that for AU$ 295 a night. We refused to accept the proposed appartment and did not stay. We found for the same price (OK... More

We booked the apartment through a discount website but the price was still quite high considering the standard of the property (we paid $AUD250 per night). We booked a one bedroom apartment, we in fact ended up with a 2 bedrooom apartment but the 'downstairs' was supposedly 'blocked off' (which it wasn't as it was the access to the garage).... More

a friend of a friend in sydney recommended the boat house apartments and i'm so glad i listened - they are an absolute gem of a find! nestled in the middle of macrossan street (so very central) but tucked off the main road (so very quiet) are 17 large luxury self-contained apartments (1 and 2 bed) with balconies or gardens.... More
