Of the three places we stayed at in Port Douglas, this was by far the best. Spectacular views, fresh and healthy breakfasts, decor in rooms sublime, wonderful hosts and the ambience addictive. Will definitely be back. Was very surprised to read the negative comment posted earlier, so pleased we chose to ignore it. Loved, loved , loved the dogs!!!!

Highly recommend this hotel/resort - its different, luxurious and you will not regret it!!! I suppose this is so highly rated because of the hosts, because the room and facilities are nothing special. Breakfast is nice but I wouldn't call this a 'resort' because it's really a bed and breakfast with a small pool. Very different for us and a little out of the way. However Anthony and Andre are great hosts - very attentive without being overbearing. Very relaxing and beautiful views. Next time we visit Port Douglas we'll definitely come back. My partner loved the dogs - Tara and Aerus(?).
