First time visiting far north Queensland with my partner and stayed at the Ramada Port Douglas for four nights and found it to be nothing but friendly, great food, exceptional service and all round pleasant stay. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in a resort style hotel near Port Douglas and wouldn't hesitate in staying there again.

Yes the Ramada is in the midst of renovation but there is little interruption or noise to guests so far. This resort was in desperate need of renovation and what they have completed so far is first rate. The rooms are beautifully renovated. A terrific family resort

I stayed 5 nights and had a very relaxing time. The health spa was excellent: one of the best massages that I've ever had. The staff at the resort are very friendly and helpful. The hotel room I booked was very spacious and had a wonderful view of the rainforest like gardens. Excellent value.
