We stayed in #2. Four adults, two children and an infant. The location was excellent - truly walk to everything - town, beach, marina. The pool was fabulous and an excellent way to spend time with the kids. The kitchen was well equipped. We really liked it and would do it again.
Totally agree with the other review about the location. This part of town seems to be the best so close to the beach and not far from the main street. No need for a car at all. It's also really really quiet and seems that quite a few locals live in this area.

We came back to Port Doug in July 2009 and booked Cassowary Villas through Port Douglas Getaways. What a find!
Right on Garrick Street, which runs parallel to the beach, this place is in the best location to visit Port Douglas. We didn't need a car once, it only takes 5 mins into town and 2 mins around the corner...
