We stayed 3 nights. The personel were friendly and helpful.The owner drove us to the CBD 2 evenings and to the airport the day we left. The rooms are comfortable with refridgerators. Our bathroom had a spa tub. The only negative was it is not close to the CBD so you need to walk or take a taxi back.

This was the best motel we found during our 2 month tour from Sydney to Cairns. Large rooms with balcony, well furnished, well equipped kitchenettes and excellent laundry facilities. Staff were very helpful and thoughtful, even served us a breakfast tray for our 4am departure.

What a great place to stay. Kudos to Dave & Sharon and all that they do for you when you are staying there (and their darling daughter) ! Sharon lined us up with Tusa Diving and also a trip to the rain forest to Kuranda. Highly recommend to all !

The Reef Palms is a wonderful motel to stay at whilst travelling in Cairns.
