We are two swedish guys who lived here while we were in Cairns. Loved the place because we could relax and sleep here and party elsewere. I stayed at Gecko's Backpackers for 6 nights by myself. The owner is really kind and other people are so friendly and helpful. I got big discount with a diving license course by the owner's effort. If I go back to Cairns, I would stay at Gecko's again. Thank you Peter ;)

This was a great spot, the rooms come with fridges to store food and there is a full kitchen. The breakfast in the morning is coffee or tea with some cornflakes which is a little basic but still more than most other hostels will offer you.
