Fabulous apartments in a great location. Ideal for a small group attending a conference, but book early. It's a very popular property and deservedly so. Jack & Newell is far enough away from the backpackers that it's very quiet but not far to walk to anything (especially the conference centre and casino complex)

We spent 3 nights at Jack & Newell. Since most of our activities revolved around the boat docks (Great Barrier Reef, Fishing, etc) that are a 5-10 minute walk away, it really was perfectly located for our short stay in Cairnes. very nice apartment, clean and excellent service. best view...we stayed in room 1101 and the view is just awsome...it's close to everywhere..only a few mins walking to pier..the equipments in the apartment are new and modern.. there was some construction happening in front of the building while we were there, looks like building a new pier....it will be even nicer...
