We have just stayed at the Econo Lodge for a week in order to attend an event at the Riverlife Adventure Centre, a short walk away. The hotel is on a busy road and although measures are taken to eliminate the noise, it is there. Ask for a room away from the road and on the second level. If a... More

Stayed here overnight as I was visiting a nearby relative. It was the first time I had been here and was very impressed by the accommodations which were clean and spacious. I was upgraded to an executive room on my arrival at no extra charge and the receptionist on duty was an extremely pleasant asian lady. Its close to everything.... More

In Australia hotel are expensive. Econo Lodge is reasonable, but I don' t like carpet with smell of old and dirty. They have facilities as kitchen and laundry. The local stuff was very informative and friendly. At the end it was ok.

Friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Econo Lodge in April 2013. Our 2 bedroom suite was well equipped and comfortable. Each room had its own air conditioner. Angela made booking in advance easy and the desk staff were friendly and helpful, assisting with luggage and calling taxis. The hotel's location on Main Street was convenient for transport... More

Stayed 2 nights last week and found the hotel staff friendly and the room comfortable but basic. Shame they don't have a restaurant but the cooked breakfasts were excellent. I will keep using them for my business stays.

Here we go! Come to Brisbane quite a lot. Thought we would find a new place for a change. Booked ahead on basis of room shots and phone conversation with reception staff. Arrive: Nice looking place outside; reception staff pleasant; large enough room - bright, airy - all looks good, yes? Then you find large black hair in the shower... More
